I...I love the HP books and this is one of my faves. I reread it before watching the new movie also. I actually enjoyed the new movie a lot! The book is definitely better than the film, however the film captured some great moments from the book and also created some great scenes that would have fit in nicely within the book. Overall definitely a great HP film. I agree with you that this book is better than the Order of the Phoenix, but HP and the Prisoner of Azkaban is still my favorite book. Definitely some great reads within the HP series!Nadiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14315207186180201488noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1433153409320048017.post-79479352588039477012009-07-25T15:56:05.656-07:002009-07-25T15:56:05.656-07:00Yay! I love that one to bits; it never fails to cause me to burst into tears.

I also liked HBP because it was definitely a step up from Book 5, which needed a more cut-throat editor, among other things and I always like when JKR delves into the backstory.

Like you, I do think the book is better than the movie - I am concerned with many of the things they've left out of the film and how they'll play them out in the last one. I was confused as to why certain elements were changed/left in, when other seemingly more crucial elements were cut, but I suppose in time we'll see how this all plays out. The HP books are always great reading choices when you're in a slump! ;)Stephhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11477615688291798393noreply@blogger.com
