I can't believe how quickly this month has flown (I know I keep saying this but it is just so true I feel it needs repeating!) - now here we are at the end of Paris in July 2011.
Tamara and I would like to thank each and every one of you who have embraced Paris in July and joined in for the ride. We are overwhelmed by the amount of interest that has been shown by the blogging community - we knew that there were many others out there who shared our love of Paris and all things French but we didn't realise it would be quite this big! We are seriously contemplating taking time off from our jobs next year to run this event!
Thank you for all of your posts and comments along the way. We would love to hear from you all about what you would like included for next years event so please feel free to comment away on this post - we are more than happy to hear constructive criticism and ideas - the more the better!

Thank you so much. I'm very excited about the prize. When it comes to gifts I'm like a child...
I wanted to thank you for hosting this event, I enjoyed it a great deal. I discovered new books, movies and new blogs.
Congratulations to the winners, and thank you again for hosting Paris in July. It's been such an enjoyable month... already looking forward to next year!
I absolutely loved Paris in July! Thanks so much for hosting this marvelous event!
May I make some suggestions for next year? How about a blog dedicated exclusively to Paris in July? And maybe use Mr. Linky (or something similar) rather than having people leave links in the comments? And maybe set up a Mr. Linky post for every day instead of once a week? (I just think this set-up would make it easier to keep track of all the posts. I feel like I missed a lot that other people posted.) I've also wondered if it might work to have one read-a-long book - something that every one would read and discuss (in addition to their own selections for the month). This would give a common thread and might encourage more interaction.
I wish I'd had more time to give to visiting all the blogs but I'm going to carry on following everyone throughout the year, even if I only drop by now and then.
I still have loads of French themed books and films left so it's not the end for my Parisian affair just yet.
Thanks for hosting!
Thank you for organising this again. Next year we shan't be moving house mid July so hopefully I can participate more. A bientot Paris in July.
Thanks so much for sponsoring this wonderful event. I had a blast! I'm still working my way through all the other participant's blogs. But I learned a lot, met some great people, and had a lot of fun.
I agree with Her Royal Orangeness about the idea of a dedicated blog or Mr. Linky - just for ease of tracking everyone. I also love the read-along idea.
Thanks again for being wonderful hosts. See you next year.
Hi Caroline - I totally understand - I feel exactly the same way about presents! I also like giving them so it will be lots of fun for me to send your prize to you!
Hi JoAnn - Thank you so much for participating - and so good to hear you will be back next year!
Hi Her Royal Orangeness - thank you so much for these wonderful suggestions. Tamara and I knew we would need to make things more "high tech" next year - the amount of people who want to be involved has just blown us away!! We are both a little hesitant when it comes to using technology but I am sure by next year we will have mastered Mr Linky etc... so we can make Paris in July bigger and better!
Hi Ellie - thank you so much for being such an amazing part of the event this year!
Hi Joan - I can imagine moving house would have restricted your reading a little bit!!
