Hello fellow Paris travellers! How has week one in France been for you?
I have to say my mind has been swaying all over the place this week and I can't seem to nail myself down to just one book or piece of music or art - I just keep jumping from one to another! But more about that in a separate post...
I will add a Mr Linky below so you can add the links for your Week 1 posts - so looking forward to travelling around to see what everyone has been up to.

Still don't think I've got the linking right... Week by week for everything... Or post by post?
I have been doing some Paris reading, but no Paris writing as yet - but am having a great time reading everyone else's posts.
Can't wait to read everyone else's posts!

Hi Christine - we usually just get people to add links to the posts for the week onto our weekly wrap up posts - but whatever you want to do is fine!
I may end up over-doing it with the Mr. Linky. I'm doing a Paris A to Z, daily posts on Paris on my site. I hope that's OK!

Just wanted to check. I see people are posting links to the second week in July. Are all our links supposed to go here or will there be a linking place for each week??
Coucou! My first time here. I come from The Marmelade Gypsy. I’ll try to look at all the links you give to see what everyone is reading on France. I am French, so I don’t read French books only in July, but all through the year, and in French. I have not been back home since my last trip to France last October, so I am a bit homesick and it makes me happy to see so many people writing about Paris. I also thank you for being interested in my country, it’s very sweet. A bientôt!
Hemingway's Moveable Feast conjures up Paris in the 1920s.
Hi. I just posted on two lesser known set in Paris stories of Guy de Maupassant

I've got a weekend full of France celebrations. My daughter is in a production of Les Miserables this weekend and my husband and I plan to visit a French restaurant on Sunday. Plus don't forget the Tour de France on TV. Here's Mine
Also, you can find a $10 Amazon gift card giveaway on my blog. Enter to win through Sunday, July 14.
Hi! I'm glad I've found your blog so I can hop over to Paris from time to time. I live near Venice and am just back from a week's work in Paris for fashion week, so I didn't have much time for wandering around - although they are now stocking my novel at Abbey's Bookshop in Saint Michel so I am chuffed! Enjoy your stay. I will NEVER fall out of love with this city! catinitaly

I'm terribly behind but I did finally post about The Ladies' Paradise by Emile Zola.
Hello, having read Mel's post on Mansfield, I wanted to share a blog about a pilgrimage to her grave outside Paris. was very interested to discover your bookbath paris project thru Mel. Sorry to come in so late.
Lovely idea for a project. Hope you do it again, maybe also try another location, too, Italy? Ireland?
I've just added my two posts for July - have thoroughly enjoyed my reading this month, and I hope you'll be doing it again next year. Cheers! Vicki.
Hi All,I just wanted to let you know that I'll be including your links on my blog today - see you at Thyme-for-tea.

Thanks for hosting this great event. I hope to back next year. You inspired me to read a number of great stories and I am now reading my first Balzac novel in two years.
