Look at what I Did Not Buy...

How strong am I??? These shoes are divine, pretty and ON SALE and I still left them in the store... I just had to put them up here - I'm still not completely over them!

That's not to say that absolutely no purchases were made today. I showed my partner the Penguin Fine Books and we came away with a copy of Crime and Punishment.

So, not a no shopping day but definitely a step in the right direction!

Those shoes look amazing! I have similar in black, and they are close to be my favorites!

And I would have done like you for the book! I'm really thinking of getting those too, even if I already own copies of a few of those. They would look so good all together on a shelf! *sighs*

Those shoes are so cute!! I am in the same boat as you - using restraint when it comes to lovely things that I want to buy. I saw this lovely Marc Jacobs handbag on sale at eluxury.com and I am wanting to buy it so badly, however I know that I can't really afford it right now, so instead I just visit it online - how sad! However, I did wind up buying a book or two :)

Good for you! Showing restraint that way. Cool book buy!

Hi Infiniteshelf - I know - they did look amazing in the shop too!! My partner and I have said we are going to buy one of the Penguin books a week until we have the whole set - that way we still feel as though we are being a little restrained! Who are we kidding??!

Hi Nadia - They are very cute! Sigh....

Yep, very cute. I am lusting after some summer dresses right now but am showing lots of restraint. Granted, when it comes to book buying I don't seem to show any! haha... You'll have to let us know if you end up getting the shoes. Sometimes I have to think on the purchase and end up convincing myself :)

Those shoes are gorgeous!! If I wasn't on a shopping ban, I would be wandering past Nine West at lunchtime today...!

I am in awe of the restraint you showed! I think I would have bought those shoes, they are way too cute to leave behind. Glad you got the first book in your new collection, though.

Hi Iliana - that's exactly what I do! I have now found the shoes online in black - so much more practical so I think the justification process is already starting!

Hi Megan - how is your shopping ban going?? I need some tips and inspiration I think.

Hi Kim - I know, I showed remarkable restraint I thought! I thought the trade off for the book was reasonable given how cute the shoes are!
