I'm very jealous that you get a summer christmas, and all that fruit!
Ooh, that edition of the James is beautiful! I am jealous. And I'm sure I'm not the only person on this side of the world to be smiling at your summer Christmas. Merry summer to you!
Oh you crazy Aussies with your Christmas in summer... I just can't wrap my head around the two together! ;)
Summer and Christmas... hard to imagine! It's been snowing nonstop for 3 days now. I love Portrait of a Lady!!
Ditto the other four comments as I snuggle under layers to keep warm...
Karen - Love the tree! And as for Christmas and Summer at the same time - While I've loved every year I've been OS for a white Christmas, there's just nothing like walking with the sun at 5am, doing pressies before breakfast and spending the day at the beach or at the lake!!! Champagne is so much better on a summers Christmas Day. Looks like you've got some good reading to do too.blell
I live in Florida so we always get a summer Christmas, too - although it's not a hot one since I live in North Florida, so it actually gets a bit cool...okay, I'll admit it! It sometimes 20 degrees in North Florida during the wintertime! :( Right now, it's fluctuating between 30s and 40s. Sigh.
Hi Frangipan - the fruit is definitely one of my favourite things about summer!
Hi Sara - It is a gorgeous edition - I actually have another copy of it but I bought this one because I like it so much more.
Hi Steph - I know - I feel the same about a white Christmas!!
Hi JoAnn - I know - I keep seeing the weather reports from the other side of the world and am amazed by how different we can be!!
Hi Joan - I'm in the process of getting rid of my layers!!
Hi T - I'm loving our tree too! I can sit and stare at it for ages! I do love our summer Christmas's but I would love to experience a winter christmas one year - maybe in Bath...
Hi Coffee - sounds like you are dreaming of the warmer weather!!
What beautiful pictures! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Willa - thanks! I had fun taking them.
