My first foray into challenges! The challenge is:
- To read 9 different books by 9 different authors from 9 different countries from April 1st - December 20th.
My selections at the moment are -
A Suitable Boy - Vikram Seth (India)
Half of a Yellow Sun - Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie (Nigeria)
The Mandarins - Simone De Beauvoir (France)
A Thousand Splendid Suns - Khalad Hosseini (Afghanistan)
Careless - Deborah Robertson (Australia)
Brick Lane - Monica Ali (England)
The Time Traveler's Wife - Audrey Niffenegger (USA)
This Charming Man - Marian Keyes (Ireland)
And one more I just can't think of at the moment - any suggestions??

Welcome to the challenge! And also t blogging, book blogging is so much fun. It is neat to meet people who are just as excited as you about reading. You have some great books on there, some are on my list too...I can't wait to get to them.

Don't forget to check back on April 1st for the big kick-off!

I hope you enjoy the challenge. I'm really looking forward to it myself and I'm kinda new to the challenge thing myself.
Have you read anything by Milan Kunera? The Book of Laughter and Forgetting is a great one. I'm reading one of his books for the challenge myself.
