Space and Time...

When did life become so hectic and out of control???!!! I have been looking back over my blog posts for the past couple of months and have noticed them dwindling in number and energy. I find myself having less and less time to really sit down and become absorbed in my blog writing and reading - and I don't like it!

I have still been reading and have some reviews to come (hopefully soon) but I am finding that work and other "must do" tasks are taking up more and more of my time - and importantly, my energy.

I am always talking with my clients about their values and prioritising and helping them to create lives that are full of the things they really want to be in them - and not just things they think "should" play a part - I find it interesting that when it comes to myself I don't always adopt these same guiding principles!

Time for some changes I think...

Don't worry about not posting regularly - we'll always be here! I hope you manage to find a good balance for your blogging. Good luck!

I know what you mean! I've noticed that I've been reading a lot, but I just haven't been in the mood to blog about the books. There are so many other things that need to be done, that I tend to let blogging take a back seat. So, I can understand where you are coming from. I hope that you are able to figure out some way to be able to create some balance when it comes to blogging, reading and life. I know I need to. Good luck!

Wish I had an answer for where does the time go! I guess I'll just say take it easy, don't worry and just post when you can. We'll be here :)

I've been exactly the same situation this week... too much work and life, not enough time for blogging. I've just learned to post when I actually have time and something decent to say. Life is more important.

It's definitely time for our tea/cake catch up... most of the women who blog will know exactly what you're feeling. Also, most of us will be here when you get back.. Blogging is actually just the thermometre isn't it? it's the indicator that tells us we have'nt given ourselves the space we need for us. This balancing act is a constancy in our lives - it actually never settles down - when it has settled, that's when it's unbalanced. Does that make sense? Hey, Take care.

I know how you feel! Other things always get in the way and it is so frustrating.

So easy to hand out advice, but when it comes to taking time away from the shoulds its hard to follow your own words.

Hi Jackie - thank you!!

Hi Nadia - It sounds like there are a lot of us that need/want to find this balance!

I think that many people are feeling the same thing. We have all been inspired by the book blogging community to grow something even bigger and better on our blogs and then have a bit of a time keeping up with our best intentions. Just let it go in whatever direction you need personally. I will be happy to see you pop up in my reader whenever it proves possible.

Hi Frances - thanks for the support. I have got so much out of blogging that I want it to be able to remain a big part of my life.
